Update on Battery Options

Sunsynk has ended its royalty agreement with the previous battery manufacturing factory. This means they are now using different Sunsynk battery models, which are incompatible with the 5.32, 10.65, 15.97KWH battery models. Moving forward:

• Battery Add Ons: Only Eenovance batteries will be available to add to existing systems where the older Sunsynk batteries are installed.
• Internal Components: The batteries use the same internal components and software as before.
• Interoperability: The batteries have the same BMS and are 100% compatible with the old Sunsynk batteries.
• Warranty: They come with a 10-year warranty.
• Service: The distributor directly supports and repairs these batteries at 9 service centres across South Africa.
• Cost: The absence of royalty fees makes these batteries more affordable.
• Appearance: Note that the battery covers have changed in design so while the size will be the same as the Sunsynk, the covers will look different

ADDITIONAL FEATURES

Eenovance have produced a perfect storage solution. The module consists of Lithium Ion phosphate rechargeable batteries with 10.65kWh capacity rated at 51.2V 208Ah with a built-in battery management system.

The battery can be expected to remain serviceable for more than 10 years and this takes into consideration that it is charged and discharged once per day at room temperature (25°C).
Lithium Ion Phosphate batteries provide excellent thermal stability and storage. The module also incorporates a self-monitoring function for the detection of any abnormalities in power storage.
