By constantly monitoring the voltage and current output of your solar (PV) panels, MPPT technology ensures that every drop of available power is rinsed out of your panels, and harvested for storage. The advantage of this is most noticeable when the sky is partially clouded, and light intensity is constantly changing.

Remotely control and monitor the extensive features of your SmartSolar MPPT charger with built-in Bluetooth by pairing it with your smartphone or other device via VictronConnect. If your installation is connected to the internet Victron Remote Management Portal (VRM) provides access to the full power of your MPPT, anytime, anywhere; both services are free to use. For remote installations – even when there is no internet connection or phone signal nearby – you may be able to monitor your MPPT by Bluetooth-pairing with a LoRaWAN (long-range wide area network) device, available optionally.

35 Amp Charge Controller. With so many Victron Energy MPPT charge controllers to pick from, it’s difficult to choose the first one for our website! Over the years, we’ve found the 30 amp MPPT controller to be the sweet spot for so many smaller to moderate applications (i.e. boats, RVs, small cabins, industrial remote power units). Victron’s 150/35 fits that bill! Combined with a max input Voc of 150VDC, this is a versatile unit with a lot of range.

Ultra-Fast MPPT. Victron engineers its MPPT technology to be really fast. This improves the amount of solar energy their MPPT controllers can harvest. And that makes a big difference on cloudy days. Up to 30% more harvest than a PWM controller and 10% better than slower MPPT controllers.

Efficient. This BlueSolar controller doesn’t need a fan to keep cool. It can achieve over 98% efficiency without one at full production up to 104 degrees F.

Adjustable. Charging algorithm, absorption and float charging voltages and more can be programmed using Victron Energy’s VE.Direct port. You’ll just attach their Bluetooth Dongle and access via their smartphone app, or their USB Interface cable (each sold separately) to your laptop.
