MPPT: Ultra Fast Maximum Power Point Tracking
By constantly monitoring the voltage and current output of your solar (PV) panels, MPPT technology ensures that every drop of available power is rinsed out of your panels, and harvested for storage. The advantage of this is most noticeable when the sky is partially clouded, and light intensity is constantly changing
Remote Monitoring and Control
Remotely control and monitor the extensive features of your BlueSolar MPPT charger by attaching a bluetooth dongle and pairing it with your smartphone or other device via VictronConnect. If your installation is connected to the internet Victron Remote Management Portal (VRM) provides access to the full power of your MPPT, anytime, anywhere; both services are free to use. For remote installations – even when there is no internet connection or phone signal nearby – you may be able to monitor your MPPT by bluetooth-pairing with a LoRaWAN(long-range wide area network) device, available optionally.
The MPPT 150/45tr (MPN SCC010045200) is part of the BlueSolar MPPT charge controller familiy. Ultra-fast powertracking and automatic MPP-voltage adjustment extend your solar system’s output. Models from 150/45tr to 150/100tr are also available with MC4-connections instead of screw clamps (solar input). Additionally this model supports concurrent operation with other controllers of the same type.
Programming, real-time data and logging
Latest Apple and Android devices (smartphones, tablets,…) can be connected via VE.Direct over Bluetooth Smart Dongles and the MPPT App or via the GX Color control.

In case of partial module shading there can be more than one point of maximum performance on the voltage curve. Common MPPTs tend to switch to a local MPP even if it not the ideal one. The innovative algorithm used in BlueSolar devices maximizes the energery outcome by always adjusting to the optimal MPP.

The smart solar 100/50 is designed to accept solar panel (PV) input up to 700W at 12V or 1400W at 24V and has a rated charge current of 50A.
However, you should note both the open circuit voltage (Voc) and the short circuit current (Isc) of your combined solar panels and ensure this does not exceed the maximum input of the MPPT charge controller. For the 100/50 the maximum PV open circuit voltage (Voc) is 100V and the maximum PV short circuit current (Isc) is 60A.

35 Amp Charge Controller. With so many Victron Energy MPPT charge controllers to pick from, it’s difficult to choose the first one for our website!
